2. Applicable legislation

We operate in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), SC 2000, c 5, and all applicable provincial privacy legislation. As a company engaged in defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure sectors, we apply heightened standards of care to all personal and operational information entrusted to us.

3. Information we collect

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it. This includes:

Contact form submissions: Name, organization, email address, area of interest, and message content.
Document portal access: Organization name and access code usage for document download tracking.
Communications: Email, phone, WhatsApp, and Signal communications you initiate with us.
Technical data: Basic server logs including IP address and browser type, retained for security purposes only.

We do not use cookies beyond what is strictly necessary for site function. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising networks, or third-party analytics platforms.

4. How we use your information

Information is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Responding to inquiries and communications you initiate
  • Processing procurement requests and supporting sales engagements
  • Scheduling and delivering training, demonstrations, and consultations
  • Fulfilling our contractual obligations to clients and partners
  • Complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

We do not use your information for marketing to third parties, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose not directly related to the business relationship you initiate.

5. Disclosure of information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Technology partners: RMUS (Rocky Mountain Unmanned Systems, USA) and Unmanned Systems Poland (U-S.IO, Poland), where necessary to fulfill your inquiry and only to the extent required. Both partners are bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.
Legal obligations: Where required by applicable Canadian law, court order, or lawful government demand.
Defense and security context: In engagements with Canadian defense and public safety agencies, information may be subject to additional security requirements agreed upon in writing.
6. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our website is served exclusively over HTTPS. Sensitive communications are available via Signal (+1 416 997-1184), which provides end-to-end encryption. Contact form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections.

Given the defense and public safety nature of our work, we take operational security (OPSEC) considerations seriously. We recommend that clients with sensitive requirements use encrypted communication channels and avoid sending classified or operationally sensitive information through web forms.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to manage the active business relationship and meet legal obligations. Inquiry records are retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with Canadian business record-keeping requirements. Upon request, we will delete personal information that is not subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Cross-border data transfers

In fulfilling inquiries involving RMUS (United States) or Unmanned Systems Poland (Poland, EU), your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside Canada. Both the United States and Poland have privacy frameworks applicable to such transfers. We ensure that transfers occur only where necessary and with appropriate safeguards in place.
